Status: read in Czech

The publication deals with shifts of borders between states and between larger units in geopolitical and international level as well as changes of borders on socio-economic and cultural level. Individual expert studies follow the emergence and disappearance of borders, their shifting, overcoming and overall phenomenon of border variability, which was reflected in the actual perception of borders during the period 19141989.

Rating: The individual chapters of the anthology, this time focused on transforming the borders of Europe, are quite dense, full of factography. Thus, although the book's readability was quite low for me, it contains a lot of interesting topics that one does not have the time or chance to get to in the history classes in primary or secondary schools.
