Status: read in Czech
The book represents the evolution of public opinion in relation to the political system and its actors, both in terms of internal and foreign policy. Its ambition is to map, as comprehensively as possible and in a broad period context, the processes that have been, and still are, characteristic of civic perceptions and evaluations of the "story" of profound social transformation after 1989. All the interpretations presented are based on the results of dozens of investigations, which were continuously carried out by the Center for Public Opinion Research of the AV ČR Institute of Sociology.
Rating: it was an interesting summary of dozens of sociological studies on Czech society and its public opinion over the past 25 years after the big bang in the 1990s; occasionally a little more dense, mainly because of the number of graphs and tables, but overall it is a good probe into the soul of our nation
