The summer children's camp, again after a year. One of the events I've been looking forward to all year. And it's always worth it – a bunch of great people, working with kids, taking a break from work duties. And most of all, I've been in the clear air for two weeks. Inhale, exhale.
So what did we do and see this year? We spent the beginning of camp with Bob and Bobek, the rabbits from the hat (Czech fairy tale). We had the Olympics and started creating the first ceramic products. We have not forgotten also to learn the basics of field orientation, using map and buzola 🐰 🐰.
Today we continued with the robber Rumcajs (another Czech fairy tale), who we helped to escape from the Royal Guard and to steal a few things for his livelihood. We learned to recognize plants and animals. The evening ended with a game of the Lottery, where we trained our brains on mathematical examples 🤯🧠.
We began Friday's day with knotting and encryption. Tonight we went out to cook in nature. Dinner was very good, and we ate SOOO WELL. Just consider..... 🤤🧑🍽
On Saturday, we took a day trip to our friend's private museum. Here we learned the history of the Iron Curtain, with weapons and military technology. We also witnessed a little sketch of what it might have looked like when we crossed the border during past worse political regime. 🎒🚌😃
On Sunday, we got acquainted with the fairy tale About the Mole. By midmorning we had finished our travels from yesterday's trip. And finally, in the woods, we searched for pictures for the story: How the mole came by the panties. After finding the pictures, we compiled and retold the story. 🧷🧐
We started Monday by building a city or village for bumblebees. After lunch, we tried to beat Snoopy, then went on a road trip, where we were tasked with flicking a ping-pong ball. We ended the evening with the encryption we'd learned the previous few days. 😎
So once again, thanks to my 2nd squad, how hard they worked and competed all competitions, as well as all of friends and comrades for again memorable two weeks in the woods!
